Klair, Franklin W. : Hockessin, 5/24/2007
Franklin A. Klair, Age 75, of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Hockessin, DE, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 in Leesburg Medical Center.
Mr. Klair was a 1949 graduate of Henry C. Conrad High School. He retired in 1976 as a Lieutenant of the Delaware State Police. He also served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the Retired Troopers Association and was a member of the Armstrong Masonic Lodge #26 in Newport. He was lifelong member of Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Mary Klair; sons, Duane F. Klair of Wilmington, DE, Donald D. Klair and his wife, Judith R. of St. Charles, IL; his daughter, Patti L. Ferrell and her husband, Timothy A. of Townsend, DE; his sister, Charlotte Dudkewitz of Elkton, MD; and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 am, at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennans Church Road, Wilmington, DE, 19808. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, from 10-11 am.

Klair, Marvin Woodward: Wilmington, 2/14/2007
Marvin Woodward Klair, Age 94, of Wilmington, DE, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, in Manor Care Pike Creek.
Mr. Klair purchased 86 acres of land on Limestone Road in 1935 and began a dairy farm that he owned and operated until 1958. He was a member and club leader of the 4-H Club for 25 years. He was a restorer of antique cars and a 50 year Charter member of the Brandywine Antique car club, also a 50 year member of the Antique Car Club of America, and he sponsored Klair’s Gas Engine Show. He was an original 50 year member of Limestone Presbyterian Church and a member of the Harmony Grange for 70 years.
