Mrs. Jane E. Bratton in Milton, Northumberland Co., PA.at age about 35. She was the wife of Robert P. Bratton, son of William and Lucretia Bratton of Juniata and Cumberland Counties. Three little children and her husband survive. 2 American Vollunteer, 2/9/1851

John B. Bratton, 56, Dies at Carlisle Home
Funeral services for John B. Bratton, 56 years old, a prominent insurance agent, who died early yesterday morning at his home, 261 Walnut street, Carlisle, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock at his late residence. Burial will be made in the Ashland Cemetery.
Mr. Bratton was a life-long resident of the county seat and was well known throughout the Cumberland Valley because of the nature of his business. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Elizabeth B. Bratton, and two sons, John B. Bratton, Jr. and McCune Bratton. 3 Patriot, 8/20/1921
